Game Theory I and II

Collaboratively taught between Professors Yoah Shoham (Computer Science, Stanford), Kevin Leighton-Brown (Computer Science, University of British Columbia), and Matthew O. Jackson (Economics, Stanford), these courses introduce people to rich and varied field of game theory. Since first being offered, hundreds of thousands of people have taken Game Theory 1 and Game Theory 2 on Coursera. The courses provide an overview of topics ranging from the modeling of conflict among nations to Google keyword auctions. Game Theory 1 begins with the basics of representing games and strategies; in the advanced Game Theory 2, learners figure out how to design interactions between agents to achieve good social outcomes.
