408 Panama Mall, Room 001

Speaker: Kenny Ligda, Associate Director, Instructional Design, Center for Teaching and Learning, VPTL

This workshop will introduce the essentials of online education: the major tools and techniques of the field, the varieties of digital learning experiences offered by universities, and the key considerations that inform course creation and execution. Working from principles of effective pedagogy, this workshop will provide you the opportunity to think through engaging learning techniques in web environments. No background with online education is required, just curiosity!

Graduate students and postdocs will be prioritized. As availability allows, the workshop will also be open to undergraduates, staff, and instructors. Light snacks will be served.

Presented by the Center for Teaching and Learning within VPTL.
