Grad Students: Are you looking to expand your teaching toolbox? Are you rusty and in need of dusting off your teaching skills? Do you have a specific teaching concern and are looking for solutions? Simply looking for great ideas and fun conversations about teaching?  

The Teaching Café is where you can ask questions, solve a challenge, share ideas, and hear about a handful effective teaching ideas that you can immediately use in your class. 

You will have chance to join three 25-minute conversations on any three of the following topics: 

o   Creating an inclusive classroom 

o   Leading discussions in the humanities and social sciences 

o   Leading discussion in STEM

o   Maximizing office hours and review session in STEM 

o   Connecting student learning to effective teaching 

o   Engaging students with Canvas 

o   Engaging students with short activities

Space is limited! Please register and indicate your choice of topics by Thursday, January 19, 2017.
