Designing Class Discussions: A Workshop for TAs

In class discussions, we want students to participate eagerly, think analytically, and achieve higher levels of understanding. But how can we accomplish this? In this workshop, we will explore how to design questions and lead discussions in ways that help students get the most out of class. Through discussions and activities, we will generate concrete strategies that you might implement in your sections or courses to foster effective discussion.
