"...reflection -- true reflection -- leads to action." -- Paulo Freire

What role do reflective activities and practices play in your classroom? Join us as we explore and share approaches that support student reflection in STEM courses. How? By drawing upon the strategies being captured by the Consortium to Promote Reflection in Engineering Education (CPREE) as well as related initiatives and programs across campus. One of the goals of this workshop is to identify and build a learning community interested in reflective practices in engineering, STEM, and undergraduate education more generally.

This workshop for STEM faculty, lecturers and TAs is co-sponsored by the Consortium to Promote Reflection in Engineering Education, Designing Education Lab, Mechanical Engineering, and the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning.

Presenters:
Prof. Sheri Sheppard, Dr. Helen L. Chen, Dr. Peggy Boylan- Ashraf, Dr. Brook Sattler
