As you know there has been a great deal of activity around online and blended learning here at Stanford. We are excited to touch base with you to discuss where we've come, what's working, and how we can iterate toward improvement.
To that end The Office of the Vice Provost for Online Learning (VPOL) and the Graduate School of Education (GSE) will co-host the second in a series of informal lunchtime events where you can hear from discussants who have taught online and blended (flipped) courses this year. Our forthcoming event will feature structured conversation with faculty regarding the nuts and bolts & step-by-steps of developing online and blended teaching materials.
* Bruce Clemens, Professor in Material Science and Engineering
* Kristin Sainani, Clinical Assistant Professor with Health Research and Policy
Lunch available in the lobby at NOON.
RSVP available here: http://online.stanford.edu/events/rsvp/
While the event is designed specifically for faculty, it is open to the entire Stanford community. We look forward to seeing many of you there.
Amy Collier, for VPOL
Mitchell Stevens, for GSE
