Teaching with Technology Lunch Series: Effective Tools for Student Feedback

Interested in learning how to integrate technology in your course? You are invited to a Teaching with Technology lunch series on topics such as creating engaging instructional videos, effective student feedback tools, how to design effective flipped classes and how to design active and inclusive online learning experiences.

The topic of the January 29, 2019 lunch meeting is "Effective Tools for Student Feedback". Participants will be introduced to various tools that can be used to get quick, actionable feedback from students regarding their experience and how well they’re tracking in a course. Multiple forms of feedback will be discussed including customization of end-term course evaluations, mid-quarter feedback, Canvas analytics, and other formative assessments such as quick knowledge checks and minute papers.

TwT Program Participants, faculty and instructors will be prioritized. As availability allows, the lunch series will also be open to staff, graduate students, and postdocs.
