Teaching with Technology Lunch Series: Designing Effective Flipped Classes

Interested in learning how to integrate technology in your course? You are invited to a Teaching with Technology lunch series on topics such as creating engaging instructional videos, effective student feedback tools, how to design effective flipped classes and how to design active and inclusive online learning experiences.

The topic of the February 15, 2019 lunch meeting is "Designing Effective Flipped Classes." Participants will be introduced to a framework to flip a class session and how to apply that framework to deliver content and activities before and during class while still providing an engaging learning experience. We will also describe how to overcome common challenges with flipping a course.

TwT Program Participants, faculty and instructors will be prioritized. As availability allows, the lunch series will also be open to staff, graduate students, and postdocs.
