An Introduction to Resources and Services for Faculty and Lecturers

The goal of Teaching at Stanford is to kick off the academic year with an overview of key resources and discussions to jump start your teaching at Stanford. The workshop is primarily organized for new faculty and lecturers, although continuing faculty and lecturers are welcome to attend.

Topics covered include:

  • Syllabus design for learning
  • Resources for teaching and learning, with and without technology
  • Canvas essentials
  • Free services available to you and your students that will save you time and engage your students

After a brief introduction to resources, participants will choose two 30-minute break out sessions on a topic of their choice with staff from the Office of the Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning.
