Stanford’s only open maker space.
Welcome to the create:space! This is your space to learn, grow, explore and experiment!
The create:space is a collaborative maker space, open to the Stanford community. Students, faculty and staff may use the resources and equipment without a need for a membership, and will be able to use a variety of tools and (smaller) machines on their own, with little to no required training. In order to use the Makerbot Mini 3D printer, you do not need any formal training. However, to use the Makerbot 2, training is required. To signup for a training session email email@example.com. In the long term, create:space hopes to be an open maker space in the community as well as a destination spot for Stanford's thinkers, artists, makers and doers.
