Community-Based Research (CBR) Fellows Program

The Community-Based Research (CBR) Fellows Program is jointly funded by the Haas Center for Public Service and the Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education (VPUE) and supports teams of faculty, students and community partners in conducting research that addresses community-identified needs. Faculty fellows and community partners who participate in the program receive $1,000 each. Student fellows are eligible for stipends of up to $6,000 for 10 weeks of full-time research during the summer quarter. Community partners are encouraged to contribute to the proposal writing process, but the application must be submitted by either the faculty or student member of the research team.
