Cardinal Course Development Grant

The Cardinal Course Grant provides funding to support courses that involve a significant community engaged learning component. These courses – designated as Cardinal Courses – provide opportunities for students to apply their learning to pressing social and environmental challenges through reciprocal community partnerships. We invite faculty to apply for up to $3,000 to cover costs associated with the course, including student transportation, supplies and materials, hourly student staff support, and community partner honoraria. Proposals are reviewed each quarter, and funding is provided by the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and the Haas Center for Public Service.
