Course Design Institute
CDI provides early-career faculty and lecturers with a collaborative and immersive environment in which to design a new course or modify an existing one optimized for student engagement and learning.
Teaching with Technology
This program and lunch series guides faculty and instructors through instructional design models to thoughtfully integrate digital tools, content and pedagogies in engaging learning experiences.
Experiments in Learning
This monthly lunch series at the Faculty Club highlights Stanford instructors who have used innovative approaches to stimulate student engagement and learning.
Teaching Practice Adventure
This annual program provides faculty and lecturers an opportunity to expand their pedagogical toolkits by participating in classroom observations with colleagues.
STEM Lecturers and Academic Teaching Staff event series
This event series brings together academic teaching staff from across STEM disciplines to discuss a variety of topics related to effective teaching and learning practices.
Mini-course: Practices & Principles of Effective Teaching
This mini-course will provide learners with a basic knowledge of the relevant research in cognitive psychology and science education and the ability to apply that knowledge to enhance their ability to learn and teach science, particularly at the undergraduate level.
We are also available to conduct customized workshops on a variety of learning topics.
