Academic Skills Coaching

Do you hear this from your students?

“I feel like I never have enough time.”

“I study and study, but it doesn’t show on my exams.”

“I’m just not feeling motivated to do my work.”

The Academic Skills Coaching Program provides support to help students learn effectively. We offer 1:1 coaching sessions, workshops, tools and tips on including procrastination, test preparation, time management, reading strategies, and more.

Who We Support

When you have students who appear to be struggling to handle the pace and complexity of learning at Stanford, we can help them develop tools to study more effectively and efficiently. Our academic skills coaches are available to both undergraduate and graduate students and provide a safe environment for them to cultivate sophisticated learning skills.

We also hire undergraduate and graduate students to work as academic skills ambassadors. Ambassadors engage communities across campus (residential, thematic, ethnic, disciplinary, etc.) and present academic skills workshop.
